Local Produce
BAKING
Every Friday we have a delicious display of baked goods of tasty savouries including curries, soups, meat pies, pasties etc; a huge range of home baked bread plus a mouth watering range of cakes and cookies. Something to suit everybody!
PLANTS AND PRODUCE
The new season's plants are just beginning to come in with a range of spring flowers and bulbs plus a few early vegetable plants for growing on or planting out. Free range hens and duck eggs are always on sale plus, for the next couple of months, goose eggs. Salad packs are also available containing naturally grown salad leaves and these are always popular!
We also have a wide variety of preserves - marmalades, jams and chutnies - all made with local produce where ever possible.
CRAFT
There is always an interesting display of craft items - all locally made - including wood turning and other wooden crafts, hand and machine knitted items, textile crafts and pewter work. We also have a range of individual hand made greeting cards - something suitable for all occasions.
REFRESHMENTS
Tea and coffee are served all morning and slices of one of our delicious cakes can also be purchased to consume with your drink.
